How do I pay?
Our Store uses PayPal for payments. You can use your PayPal account if you have one, or payments can be made with a major debit or credit card such as: Visa, Delta, Electron, MasterCard, Eurocard, Maestro or American Express. Debit cards are accepted if they have a Visa or MasterCard logo.

Is my payment secure?

Yes! PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 168-bits (the highest level commercially available).

What about refunds and returns?
If things should go wrong for any reason, here is what you do. Items must be returned with the original invoice and in the condition in which you received it. Indicate on the back of the invoice, or in an attached letter, why you are returning the item(s). If your order arrived damaged please return it right away.

If you have changed your mind about a purchase, please return it within 28 days of receipt (ensuring it is suitably packed so as not to get damaged in the post), with your returns slip. Providing it was properly packed, we will either exchange it for an item of the same value or refund you. We recommend you use a Special Delivery, signed for service for returned items as we cannot be held responsible for the vagaries of the Post Office.

All refunds will be credited to the card used for your purchase, or to your PayPal account. We will refund you as quickly as possible and will advise you by email.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes! But please contact us before you buy. The prices on our website include shipping to the UK only. We are happy to send lovely Growler things anywhere in the world but we’ll need to work out how much it’s going to cost you!

How do I contact someone at Growler?
Please see the Contact section of our website and email us in the first instance. Someone from our team will get back to you as soon as possible.

I’m not satisfied. How do I vent my frustration?
If you are not satisfied with our service please be nice about it because we will feel really bad. If we really, really bugger things up please feel free to email us entirely in caps lock. That'll make us sit up and take notice.

Questions about our Clothing

What brand are your T-shirts?
All Growler Ts are printed on Gildan shirts. They are 100% pre-shrunk cotton, with a seamless collar, taped neck and shoulders and twin needle stitching. We've tested them out and we think they're made of strong stuff. Gildan does not use sweatshops, child labour or forced labour in their facilities, all of which adhere to a strict internal code of conduct, local and international laws and the codes of WRAP and the FLA.

How should I care for my T-shirt?
Growler T-shirts come with comprehensive washing instructions but our recommendation is to turn them inside out and machine or handwash on cold. If in doubt, ask your mum.

What type of printing process do you use?
All our T-shirts are screen-printed in the UK by hand.

How will my T-shirt be shipped?
We send our T-shirts by first class post. If there are any problems with your order we will contact you by email as soon as possible.

Do I pay extra for shipping?
Postage and packing to the UK is added at the checkout.

How does your sizing work?
We hope we’ve made the sizing pretty clear but if your T-shirt arrives and it’s the wrong size just let us know and we’ll organise a replacement as quickly as we can.

Questions about our Art

How long will it take for my art to arrive?
The majority of our art is printed to order. As soon as we receive confirmation of your order we will contact the artist and get the ball rolling. We will keep you updated on the progress of your order by email. If you order a framed print we’ll need some additional time to get this done. If you are buying a print or painting as a gift and working to a particular timeframe it’s worth contacting us before you buy so that we can confirm that we can deliver when you need us to.

How will my art be shipped?
If you order an unframed print it will be sent by Special Delivery in a heavyweight tube for maximum protection. Framed prints are sent via our courier delivery service. Collection in person is free and we can sometimes deliver certain items. We also offer a hanging service. Please contact us for further details.

Do I pay extra for shipping?
No – postage and packing to the UK is included in the price you see on the website.

What does Limited Edition mean?
Once the stated number of a Limited Edition has been reached, no more prints are made from that original image. Both the artist and the printer destroy all high-resolution scans of the image, ensuring that no more prints are made.

What is a Giclée Print?
Giclée, pronounced ‘zhee-clay’ is a French word that means ‘to spray’. A giclée print is produced on a highly sophisticated ink jet printer. Its drum-based technology creates prints that are almost identical to the original artwork.

Questions about Vintage items

What is vintage?
Basically it’s second hand. Maybe even third, fourth or fifth hand! The beauty of a vintage piece is its heritage – the dinks and dents that show a life lived. All vintage items have scuffs and scratches – it’s what makes them special. If you are looking for something shiny and new, then vintage is not for you. We source beautiful items worldwide, clean and restore them ready for a new life.

Are your vintage items suitable for children?
In a word – No! The majority of our vintage items are for grown-ups. Many of the older metal figures probably use lead paint – a real no-no for kids. We’re assuming anyone over the age of 18 won’t want to put a small dog in their mouth!

How will my vintage item be shipped?
Items up to the value of £50 are sent by first class mail. Items with a value of over £50 are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Do I pay extra for shipping?
Postage and packing to the UK is added at the checkout.
