WE SAY:

After graduating from St Martin’s School of Art in London in 1986, Rob worked (in no particular order) as an interior designer, a life drawing tutor, an art director and a curator. Since 2005 he has been a full time artist. He has exhibited internationally and has just completed a book and global windows project for luxury Spanish leather brand Loewe. We love Rob’s unique way of capturing canine characters.
THE ARTIST SAYS:

I was always frightened of dogs. Then girlfriend-at-the-time suggested we get a Jack Russell. We did and I went from crossing the road in fear of a local Bull Terrier (big bugger) to having a comb-eating Bassett Hound called Trudy on my lap. It was a religious experience of sorts. I love dog world. You take the dog to the park and meet all sorts of fabulously entertaining people. It’s been a voyage of canine discovery ever since.
